Publishing studio

Anubi

CGI, motion and web in one production process.

Rovigo · Italy

The studio

A creative production studio for images, motion and digital products.

Anubi is the studio that publishes Produzione Moderna.

Anubi brings art direction, CGI, motion design and web development into one production process for campaigns, product films, digital content and interactive experiences.

Anubi is most useful when the idea and its execution need to remain connected. A project can begin with visual direction, become a CGI film, produce stills and social adaptations, then continue into a website or WebGL experience. The medium changes with the brief; the constant is an ability to turn an idea into a coherent system of usable outputs.

The studio is based in Rovigo and works with brands and agencies on Italian and international assignments. Its public portfolio spans product visualization, 2D and 3D animation, VFX, advertising, illustration, AI-assisted workflows and web development. That range matters when technical precision, visual judgement and multichannel delivery all belong to the same brief.

Anubi should not be read as a full-service agency replacing every specialist. Its field is more precise: creative and digital production. It fits projects whose subjects need to be designed, built, animated or made interactive, with art direction and production in active conversation through delivery.

What it does well

CGI and 3D

Product visualization, CGI films, campaign imagery and FOOH content, with art direction, modeling, look development, animation, rendering and final delivery.

01

From creative direction to production

Projects often lose force between concept and execution. Direction may be defined by one team, production handed elsewhere and technical choices introduced after the visual language has hardened. Anubi works at the meeting point of these phases. Modeling, materials, light, motion, compositing, interaction and code participate in the project rather than merely finishing it.

For a product film, a camera or material decision can affect brand perception as much as a storyboard. In an interactive experience, a 3D scene has to be designed alongside loading, navigation, devices and content management. Keeping the process connected allows these decisions to happen while the direction can still respond.

External collaborators may still be right for photography, audio, live action or a specialist craft. The important point is a legible production core: who leads the work, who makes its central parts and how different disciplines are integrated.

02

How the work develops

The first step defines the problem before selecting a technique. Objective, audience, channels, formats, timing and available material determine whether the answer is full CGI, a hybrid treatment, 2D motion, filming, a digital product or a combination. Visual direction is then made shareable through references, storyboards, styleframes or prototypes.

CGI production moves through modeling, look development, animation, lighting and rendering. Intermediate reviews validate structure and motion before every detail is final. Web projects use the same logic through architecture, prototypes and technical tests before full development. Early decisions protect the budget while leaving room for the creative choices that matter.

Delivery is considered from the start. A film may need landscape, vertical and short cuts; a campaign may need stills, loops and localized versions; a website has to remain editable, measurable and fast. Treating outputs as a system produces greater consistency than adapting one master at the end.

03

CGI, AI and control of the image

CGI is effective when a product is unavailable, a camera has to travel somewhere impossible or materials and transformations need precise control. Anubi uses it to design form, light and motion together. Modeling and look development matter because they put attention on the quality of the object, not just the finishing effect.

AI-assisted tools appear in the studio’s stated workflow without replacing art direction and review. They can speed up exploration, variations or selected steps; outputs still need selection, control and integration. The useful client question is where AI enters, what it generates, who validates it and which rights or constraints apply.

04

When the project continues on the web

Anubi’s Code practice extends visual work into websites, 3D experiences and digital tools. This matters when a campaign does not end with a film or when a brand identity lives through interaction. WebGL and browser-based 3D only work when scene, interface and performance are designed as one product.

The studio also lists multilingual CMS work, management tools, analytics and performance. These less visible concerns decide whether a site remains useful after launch. Complex briefs should establish who updates content, which metrics matter, which devices take priority and what maintenance will be needed.

UPSA × Nourished — Gummies

Three product films developed with Naive Agency. Anubi handled 3D production, motion graphics and video, delivering 15, 10 and 6-second versions for TV, Meta, YouTube and preroll. The published process includes 3D previews and rough animation alongside the final cuts.

When to bring Anubi into a project

Anubi is strongest when a brief needs a clear visual direction and production across several formats. Relevant assignments include:

  • CGI films and product visualization for advertising, launches and digital content;
  • campaigns requiring a master film, short cuts, vertical formats, stills and adaptations;
  • motion identities, explainers and animation systems for several channels;
  • creative websites and WebGL experiences where visual direction and development cannot be separated;
  • projects combining CGI, video, motion and a digital destination under one direction;
  • brand or agency teams looking for a production partner that can help develop the treatment as well as make the assets.

Essential questions

Is Anubi a creative agency or a production studio?

Anubi describes itself as a creative production studio. Its center is visual and digital production: art direction, CGI, motion, video and web development. It can shape direction with a client or agency, but it should not be presented as a full-service media or performance marketing agency.

Can it handle both CGI and web development?

Yes. Both are documented capabilities. The combination makes sense when 3D assets continue into a site, configurator or interactive experience. Scope, performance and maintenance still need to be established in the brief.

Does it only work with clients near Rovigo?

No. The studio presents work for brands and agencies and can manage briefings, reviews and deliveries remotely. Meetings, filming or material collection can be planned when production requires them.

How can a client judge whether the budget is realistic?

Share the objective, outputs, formats, duration, deadline, available assets and number of products or variants. Those inputs allow the studio to define a realistic scope and identify the choices with the largest effect on timing and cost.
