Website and e-commerce incentives: choosing a scheme
To finance a web project, compare the applicants and costs covered by each scheme. Nuova Sabatini, SIMEST and Smart&Start serve different purposes. The former MIMIT digitalisation voucher is closed; its page does not describe an application opportunity today.

Define what the website must do
Describe one function at a time and its expected result. For example: the customer submits an order and the management system receives the products, quantities and address. Keep this work separate from identity, content and promotion in the estimate.
Choose a compatible scheme
Sabatini concerns productive assets and financing; SIMEST connects investment to international activity; Smart&Start funds business plans for innovative startups. The company category narrows the choice.
Request an itemised estimate
Separate development, software, integrations, content and operation. State what will be delivered and who will use it for each cost. The estimate also helps remove ineligible expenses.
Compare timing and company funds
Check when orders, payments and disbursement requests can take place. Compare the scheme’s timetable with the website launch and available cash.
Plan management after launch
Agree access, maintenance and catalogue and content updates. Include those costs in the business plan even when the incentive does not cover them.
Send the adviser the estimate by activity and the planned launch date; share the expense review with the supplier.
